ADHD Coaching in Calgary

A structured, supportive approach to help you work with your brain—not against it.

What ADHD Coaching means

Living with ADHD can feel frustrating at times—especially when it comes to focus, follow-through, and managing daily responsibilities.

You may find yourself starting tasks but not finishing them, feeling overwhelmed by small decisions, or struggling to stay organized despite your best efforts.

ADHD coaching offers a structured and supportive way to better understand how your brain works and build practical strategies that actually fit your life.

At Gabrielle Hone Counselling, ADHD coaching is designed to be both compassionate and goal-oriented—helping you make meaningful changes without pressure or shame.

A Gentle, Supportive Process

This is an 8-week coaching process designed to support growth in key areas of executive functioning.

Together, we focus on:

  • Procrastination and follow-through
  • Working memory and organization
  • Attention and focus
  • Emotional regulation
  • Impulsivity and decision-making

Each session builds on the last, creating a steady and manageable path forward.

You’ll also have the opportunity to choose a specific area of focus—such as work, parenting, or daily routines—so the process feels relevant to your life.

How ADHD Coaching Works

ADHD coaching is both practical and collaborative.

Each week, we focus on building tools and strategies you can apply right away. This may include cognitive behavioural techniques, mindfulness practices, and small lifestyle adjustments that support focus and regulation.

At the end of each session, you’ll be given simple, realistic strategies to try during the week—along with a supportive accountability structure to help you track progress and reflect on what’s working (and what’s not).

You’ll also be introduced to tools and apps that can support organization, memory, and day-to-day functioning.

More Than Just Talk

This process goes beyond conversation.

It’s about creating real, usable change—through:

  • Clear structure and consistency
  • Practical tools you can apply immediately
  • Ongoing accountability and reflection
  • A focus on progress over perfection

The goal isn’t to “fix” ADHD—but to understand it, work with it, and build systems that support you.

Who ADHD Coaching Is For

This may be a good fit if:

  • You have been diagnosed with ADHD (or are in the process of assessment)
  • You struggle with focus, organization, or follow-through
  • You feel stuck in cycles of procrastination or overwhelm
  • You want structured support—not just open-ended therapy
  • You’re ready to make changes but need guidance and accountability

A formal ADHD assessment (with a psychologist, physician, or through this practice) is required before beginning coaching.

Building Skills That Last

ADHD coaching is about creating sustainable change—not quick fixes.

Over time, you’ll begin to:

  • Understand your patterns more clearly
  • Respond to challenges with more confidence
  • Build systems that support your daily life
  • Feel more steady, focused, and in control

Small, consistent shifts can lead to meaningful long-term change.
